A pile frame equipped with a walking mechanism is driven by an electric motor or a hydraulic cylinder to roll on a short section of track (commonly known as a walking shoe) for the walking mechanism. This causes the entire pile frame to move in a straight line. When it reaches the end of the track, the travel switch contacts on the base frame touch the bumper, and the walking motor is cut off. The pile frame stops. If you want to continue moving forward, you must use hydraulic jacks to make the pile frame and the track move together off the ground, allowing the track to move forward for a certain distance. Then lower the pile frame, and the walking wheels roll forward again within the track to drive the pile frame to move forward for a certain distance. Repeat the above actions to push the pile frame continuously forward, extending indefinitely. The walking and turning are very convenient. Compared with the track-type pile frame, a large amount of track laying and moving work can be saved.
